This HEMI Predator 212 “stock appearing” air box fits perfectly in place of the original but opens the air passage up from a 1 inch hole to a 3 inch slot. The air coming into the box has been upgraded from 5/16”holes to massive 1.5 inch holes letting as much air in as possible. The stock lid and fuel breather line also fit this new filter base. I have ran these boxes on my land and sea water brake engine dyno and have posted the results in the pictures with various engine combinations. I HAVE NOT seen much gain on a bone stock engine but as you add things like timing, compression and exhaust I have then seen as much as a 1 horsepower gain, pay attention to the engine specs at the top of the dyno charts. These dyno results are with a 212 hemi predator stroked to 224 with a 16cc head 12.5 to 1 compression ratio. stock cam, and carb. The jets have been changed to use e85 fuel on this test engine.
